8. Users are not allowed to use the Service or Website for any illegal or unauthorized purposes International users agree to comply with their respective local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content.

Ajungo is a web application designed to connect travelers around mutual destinations…While most of our users tend to meet up with other travelers or locals in some form or another, many people use Ajungo simply as a great source for personalized, real-time travel information. For those who do intend to meet up with other users…people are expected to use their best judgment when connecting with other users of the community. With the growing popularity of GPS & location-based websites & mobile apps, now more than ever, it is important to always use common sense when interacting with other users & posting personal information online. Our site may not be for everyone…we realize this, and so do our users upon registering with Ajungo. However, if users abide by our guidelines & safety tips, they can learn how to best protect their information online while still taking advantage of the many incredible travel features that Ajungo has to offer.
1) Utilize Ajungo Messaging features & explore users other social profiles on other sites to get to know travelers
Ajungo provides an internal private messaging platform for each user to open lines of communication to get to know one another. If an Ajungo user wants to meet you in person and you have never met him/her before, do your research first! Ask several questions so you can find out more about the person and form a comfortable trusting relationship. If you decide to meet them, be smart about it: Meet in a public place, during the day, with friends you trust. Always tell a friend or family member where you are going, who you are going with and when you should be home.
2) Utilize Privacy Settings
Ajungo privacy settings are setup to be as simple and easy to user as possible. They are designed to give you full control of what information you wish to share & with whom.
3) Travel in Groups
The obvious best way to ensure safety is to travel with people you know. Group travel in largely populated areas is the best way to go when traveling in an unknown destination.
4) Keep Personal Info Private
If there is a piece of information you want to keep secure…keep it away from the internet. Its that simple. Never post your address, phone number, Social Security number or financial information on Ajungo.
5) Always use Common Sense
Traveling can always present some safety risks. Users hereby agree that Ajungo Holdings LLC & Ajungo.com cannot be held responsible for the any occurrences or risks associated with the connections made through our site.
Ajungo takes user privacy extremely seriously, and we offer a comprehensive set of privacy settings for your information. What makes our privacy settings special is how simple and easy to understand they are. We pledge to never implement privacy settings that our users can't easily understand, and we will never update our settings without notifying users first. Currently our privacy controls are configured around 2 main features of our user experience:
Trip Settings:  Users have the ability to decide whether each posted trip is visible by "Everyone", "the Ajungo Community (registered members)", or "Your Travel Circle only"…You can also apply these settings to the content generated from our Ajungo "Real-Time Travel Guides.
Profile Settings:  Profile settings allow the user adjust who can view their entire user profile. Users can make their profile available to any of the 3 groups listed above in the trip settings. Profile privacy also includes the ability to choose whether you will be viewed by your real name or a screenname.
How Ajungo Uses the information you provide:
Ajungo never sells or provides your information to any third parties. Your information is strictly used to help give you the best experience while using Ajungo. Ajungo administrators may reach out to users to help improve or advertise Ajungo services as a response or in advance to inquiries and promotions.

By default, basic information taken from your profile will be displayed to other users in the search results to help connect one another on trips.
